After participating in the G20 summit on November 18 and 19 in Rio de Janeiro, the Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, will head to Buenos Aires, where he will meet with the Argentine president Javier Milei, in the Pink House.
The information, revealed by sources linked to the organization of the event to the Argentine portal Infobae, came just days after Milei confirmed her presence at the G20, to be chaired by the Brazilian president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, with whom Milei maintains a tense relationship.
With no detailed agenda yet released, it is speculated that Meloni will have a reception at Embassy of Italy, a meeting with the Argentine president and meetings with representatives of Argentina's political, business, social and diplomatic sectors.
Argentine authorities remain cautious and have not officially confirmed the visit. The country's executive branch and diplomacy are awaiting a position from the Palazzo Chigi, seat of the Italian government, about Meloni's itinerary in Buenos Aires.
