Italian Maneskin frontman Damiano David will embark on his first world tour as a solo artist from September 2025, with more than 30 dates in Europe, Australia, North America, South America and Asia, his record label said on Monday (9).
The program includes a show in São Paulo, at Tokio Marine Hall, on November 7, 2025, with ticket pre-sale scheduled for December 11, upon registration on the singer's official website.
General ticket sales will begin next Monday (16), on the Eventim platform, at 10 am (Brasília time). Tickets can also be purchased in person at the Morumbis stadium box office, starting at 11 am on Tuesday (17).
Prices vary between R$390 and R$570.
In addition to Brazil, two events are scheduled in Italy: October 7th at the Unipol Forum in Milan and October 11th at the Palazzo dello Sport in Rome.
Damiano's tour will officially kick off on September 11 in Warsaw. He will then visit several European cities, followed by Australia and Japan.
Starting November 7, the Italian will headline four live shows in South America and 11 dates in North America, where he will close the tour on December 16 at The Fillmore in Washington.
The tour announcement follows the release of “Born With A Broken Heart,” the second song and first single from the Maneskin singer’s new solo project.
The music is "overwhelming and full of energy, characterized by a theatrical atmosphere that makes it perfect for the live dimension," the record label stated.
Recently, Damiano, who is taking a break from the Roman rock band, released a video for “Born With A Broken Heart,” sporting his new 1950s movie star look and dancing as if he were in a classic Hollywood musical.
“The video represents my imagination,” said the man whose band became a global success after winning the Sanremo Festival and Eurovision. “A world where, no matter what, once you walk through the door, everything becomes magical and beautiful.”
For the artist, “it’s a way of saying that not everything that is negative will hurt you, but sometimes it will take you to the next chapter of your life.”
“We all have the ability to transform negative experiences into something meaningful for us. 'Born With A Broken Heart' is a song full of energy, in apparent contrast to the deeply moving and emotional lyrics,” he added.
Despite being born out of a difficult period in the singer's life, the song is characterized by a catchy chorus and a sound that gives lightness to the depth of the lyrics. “When I wrote this song, I was coming out of a very dark moment,” he revealed.
“I felt apathetic and was afraid that I had lost my ability to feel and experience feelings, both positive and negative. All of this happened at a time when I was starting the most important relationship of my life and the fear of not being ready or up to it was enormous,” he added, referring to his breakup, after almost six years, with Italian model and influencer Giorgia Soleri, and his new relationship with American actress and singer Dove Cameron.
Finally, Damiano highlighted that he thinks “this song was a way of making sense” of what he “was feeling, looking at everything from a less scary perspective”.
“I’m glad I don’t feel that way anymore, but I think a lot of people can relate to that feeling of inadequacy,” she concluded. (HANDLE)
