Italian singer-songwriter Damiano David released his newest single, “Next Summer,” this Friday (28), marking another chapter in his promising solo career. The track, which moves between joy and pain, carries an intense emotional charge, reflecting the artist’s visceral signature. With a warm reception since the beginning of his solo journey, Damiano continues to win fans around the world.
To accompany the release, the singer released a powerful music video in which he plays an inmate in a prison. The visual narrative symbolizes the mental prisons we all face – our fears, insecurities and internal judgments. On his social media, Damiano shared: “The fear of not being good enough keeps us imprisoned. Facing our vulnerability is an act of courage.”
The single follows ‘Born With A Broken Heart’, ‘Silverlines’ and a cover of Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus’ ‘Nothing Breaks Like A Heart’, which was released to Spotify Singles. Damiano is now gearing up for a massive world tour in 2025, with 33 dates confirmed across Europe, Australia, North America, South America and Asia. With sold-out shows and moves to larger venues due to high demand, this new phase for the artist promises to be monumental.
The single “Next Summer” is now available on all streaming platforms. (Source: Rock Radio)
