The iconic Archaeological Park of ColiseumIn Italy, preparations are underway for five unmissable days of a free event for lovers of all kinds of music, in a unique setting around the world.

This refers to "Venere in Música," which will use the Temple of Venus in Rome as its location, the largest sacred building constructed by the Romans (and one of the largest in Antiquity), commissioned by Hadrian.

The event will begin on June 19th with a performance by the singer and composer diodate, one of the most appreciated of new Italian pop, with six albums released and a career punctuated by awards.

On the 20th, exploring the wide repertoire of almost 30 years of career, it will be the turn of the London jazz band Morcheeba.

On the 21st, one of the most fascinating exponents of world music will take to the stage, the Malian singer and guitarist Rokia Traoré.

On the 22nd, a meeting will bring together central formations in the world music scene and a historic voice from the Italian alternative and indie scene: Ginevra Di Marco, Orchestra Almar'à and Babelnova Orchestra.

On the 23rd, “Venere in Musica” will end with a show by a global cinema star who recently showed Italy his musical side, Russell Crowe, leader of the band The Gentlemen Barbers. (HANDLE)
