The family Baldan came from Italy and founded one of the main factories of agricultural implements from Brazil. A story that changed national industry.
It all started in 1925, when the brothers Narciso and Carillo Baldan left the region of Veneto, the Italy, and arrived in Brazil, in search of better work conditions, as well as thousands of immigrants did at the same time.
In their new country, they adopted the city of Matão, at interior of São Paulo, as their new home, where they started working with tools and building carts, wagons and other utensils and farming implements.

Patriarch
This is how the first version of the company emerged, in 1928, the firm “Narciso Baldan & Brothers”. The patriarch of the family, Pietro Baldan, Married with Richiela, ended up coming to Brazil in 1930 with his children, brothers of Narciso and Carillo: Adolfo, Serafim, Maria e Pedro, known affectionately as Uncle Pierim.

In the following years, with the beginning of mechanization of Agriculture, the company began manufacturing products to supply this increasingly growing market.
In 1952, the family manufactured the first disc for plows and national grids. The pioneering spirit broke dependence on imported products and contributed to the development of agriculture in the country.

Innovation and technology
Baldan discs are now considered among the best products offered on the market. Innovation encouraged the practice of new production methods and techniques.
In 1962, the company became known as “BIA-Baldan Implementos Agrícolas S/A”, a name that remained for many years. In 1976, the company's modern facilities were inaugurated in Baldan AvenueOn Matão, which have become a landmark in the city.

In the 1980s, with the awakening of technology and the arrival of computers, which transformed the world and man’s relationship with the day, the metallurgical company embarked on the evolution process and completely modernized its industrial park, to meet growing national and international demand.
Modernization
To achieve its objectives, the company built a modern Foundry, which resulted in the growth of the production line, while maintaining the quality of your products.

The modern industrial park has 256 thousand square meters, of which 65 thousand square meters are built area, combining experience and cutting edge technology.
There, the company has been developing products with advanced engineering concepts, which are intended for soil preparation and planting of different types of crops. It has a line of products aimed at sugarcane culture and also agricultural platform for corn harvest.

Professional management
The management model adopted by Baldan is supported by a Professional Management (Executive Board hired), in line with the Board of Directors (participation of Baldan Family shareholders).
Along with the professionalization of its management, from April 2010 the metallurgy company began implementing its own manufacturing system, called SBM.
SBM is a production system that focuses on meeting customer expectations through the application of the best and most successful methodologies and manufacturing technologies emerged throughout the history of global industry. Among them are: MRP, SCM, ISO, Lean Manufacturing e Six Sigma.
Diverse line
Currently the company has a wide and diversified line with more than 200 productsOn 2 thousand versions aimed at all types of crops and soil.
The company's products include plows, harrows, growers, seeders, planters, mowers, terracers, planers, spreaders, harvesting platforms, winches and trailers, among others.
The Baldans have invested decades of work in interior of São Paulo and broke barriers to build one of the main companies in its segment in Brazil and set another example of what persistence and commitment can do for a family and for a country.
