The province of Trento, in the region of Trentino-Alto Adige, is the place with the highest quality of life in Italy, shows the 24th edition of the Quality of Life Report made by ItaliaOggi in partnership with La Sapienza University, from Rome, and the Cattolica Assicurazioni.
Among the nine global indices analyzed to compose the classification (which include issues related to business and work, education, wealth, longevity, study, social security and free time), Trento obtained excellent scores in eight of them. Last year, the province was in second place.
• Cases affected by the decree
• Delays at the town hall and consulate
• Customized legal strategy
The 2021 winner, the province of Parma, fell to seventh position. This year's runner-up was Bolzano, followed by Bologna, Florence and Milan.
At the opposite end, there is the province of Crotone, in the Calabria region, which, in turn, has six quality of life indexes below the national average.
The report points out that the issue of a northern area leading and a southern area being at the bottom of the classification highlights the great differences that mean the nation “is divided in two”.
“The image of Italy that emerges is that of a country that emerges from the Covid-19 pandemic ever more separated between a North that knew how to demonstrate good resilience skills and a South where more and more pockets of serious personal and social problems are manifesting themselves. The current version indicates that the effects of the pandemic are over, and we are back to the situation of 2019”, points out the document. (Handle)
