Coronavirus
According to the newspaper Corrieri della Sera, Italy surpassed the number of 150 people infected, with three confirmed deaths, making it the fifth country with the most cases in the world.
From this Monday, February 24th, all schools in Lombardy and Veneto, in Northern Italy, will be closed.
In addition to schools and universities, all events will be suspended and meeting places, cinemas, churches, theaters and museums will be closed. The government is still considering closing commerce for a week.
The restrictive measure – with no end date – is part of an action by the Italian government to contain the increase in the number of people infected with the Coronavirus.
