Quiririm Italian Festival, in Taubaté, continues until May 1st

The traditional began Festival of the Italian Colony of Quiririm in Taubaté (SP). With around 10 tons of pasta produced, the event expects to receive 250 visitors by May 1st.

The party, which brings together Italian dances, music and cuisine, celebrates its 34th anniversary in 2023. The activities take place at Praça de Eventos, which is located on Rua Coronel José Benedito Marcondes de Mattos, but there are attractions throughout the district.

This year, a novelty among typical sweets is Italian straw made with powdered milk. One of the sweet stalls expects to sell around 12 thousand units of the treat.
