A fish with a 'body' similar to that of a shark and a 'face' similar to a pig was found by sailors in Elba island, in Italy. The men were “shocked and confused” by the discovery.
The creature was found floating and ended up being removed from there, says the side bible. Experts reported that it is a fish called Oxynotus Centrina, which lives up to 700 meters deep.
The images were captured on August 19, but were only now shared on social media.
On Facebook, the Isola d'Elba page published the news of what had happened: “On the Island of Elba, a copy of the Oxynotus Centrina, commonly called 'pigfish'. It is a rare fish that lives between 100 and 700 meters deep.”
The new law will now be reviewed by the European Union's courts. And there are European precedents that strengthen the defense of descendants.
