The Turin team has defined the first game for the Italian. Craque enjoys the last days of vacation
Juventus' first official game of next season already has a set date: August 19th. On this day, the Turin team debuts in the Italian Championship, against Chievo Verona. And the great expectation is that Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo will play his first game for the new team.
In the opening event of the Italian Championship, held this Thursday, great emphasis was placed on CR7's presence in Serie A, including highlighting his likely presence in Juventus' debut against Chievo Verona, away from home. In the second round, the match will be in Turin, against Lazio. For the third round, the game will be against Parma, who will start the championship with five points less, due to signs of manipulation of results last year.
The first clash against Napoli, second-placed last season, will be in the seventh round. The first classic against Milan will be on the weekend of November 11th, for the 12th round, at the San Siro. The first match against Inter will be in the 15th round, on December 9th, and the classic against Torino will be in the next round, on December 16th.
Cristiano is currently on vacation, enjoying the last few days of rest before the reappearance in Turin, scheduled for Monday next week, July 30th. Eight other players who played in the knockout stages of the World Cup in Russia also do the same: Dybala, Higuaín, Douglas Costa, Bentancur, Cuadrado, Mandzukic, Pjaca and Matuidi.
The rest of the team is in the United States with coach Massimiliano Allegri, to compete in the International Champions Cup, a pre-season tournament. This coming Saturday, Juventus faces Benfica. There was an expectation that Cristiano Ronaldo would participate in Juventus' game against Real Madrid, in the same tournament, on August 4th. But this is ruled out due to the short preparation time for the athlete.
For the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo, Juventus paid €100 million (R$447 million) to Real Madrid, which will be divided over two years. In addition, there is the amount allocated to the solidarity mechanism provided by FIFA, of €12 million (R$53,7 million), plus the commission from businessman Jorge Mendes, of €5 million, totaling €117 million.
