'Committee' elections concluded; meet the elected

Completed the elections of the Committees of Italians Abroad (Com.IT.ES), carried out on December 3, the first results are beginning to arrive.

Na circumscription of Rio de Janeiro, just Constantini Cassarà Graziella managed to get elected.

O Espírito Santo took the other 11 vacancies. The most voted was Ana Maria Cani, with 490 votes; followed by Thiago Roldi, with 435 votes – he is a councilor in Santa Teresa/ES.

With 285 votes received, the journalist and director of the Public Archive of the State of Espírito Santo, Cilmar Franceschetto, was third place.

The result obtained by Espírito Santo was already expected, according to Franceschetto. “There is a very strong mobilization of the Italian community in Espírito Santo. Here we have the Comunità association, Casa D'Italia, the implementation of Sportello (consular office), and this helped to organize the election of the 11 candidates. It was a big surprise, but there was already a lot of work in the State and that helped,” he told Italianismo.
