The Italian singer Laura Pausini was considered one of the 25 most powerful Latin women in the world, according to a ranking prepared by the Spanish version of People magazine.
This is the first time an Italian woman has been selected on the list and confirms Pausini as a symbol of Italy in the world.
“Laura Pausini broke a thousand barriers for us, women in the sector. In addition to her unusual voice, she has always had a level of empathy rarely found”, highlighted the publication.
According to the magazine, the Italian “has been vocal and courageous in countless moments, in which she can cause discomfort without any problem if she is to defend human rights, be sensitive and committed to the most diverse causes”.

Last November, the singer, who celebrates 30 years of career, was also named “Personality of the Year” at the Latin Grammy ceremony.

Besides the Italian woman, the list includes women who have excelled in film, television, music, and fashion, reinforcing the fact that they all built their own destiny in highly competitive worlds thanks to their talent, determination, and leadership.
Among the names are Selena Gomez, Giselle Blondet, Roselyn Sanchez, América Ferrera (Barbie), Rita Moreno, Sheynnis Palacios and Sofia Vergara (Griselda). (HANDLE)
