The city of Itu is preparing to receive the 22st Italian Festival, one of the most traditional events in the interior of São Paulo state. Organized by the Nossa Senhora da Candelária Parish with the support of the City Hall, the festival takes place on January 24th, 25th, and 31st, and February 1st, occupying Padre Miguel Square. (Praça do Orelhão).

The event celebrates the strong heritage of the immigrants who helped build the history of the municipality. With stalls offering typical cuisine and cultural performances, the festival coincides with the celebrations of the patron saint Our Lady of Candelaria, uniting faith and tradition in a family-friendly atmosphere.

Dates: January 24, 25 and 31; February 1, 2026.
Location: Padre Miguel Square (Praça do Orelhão), in front of the Matriz Church in Itu.
Attractions: Traditional cuisine, community stalls, and tributes to the patron saint.
