Three Italian students found a bag with money inside a bus last Wednesday (6). 15 thousand euros in cash and handed it over to the driver.
The 14-year-old teenagers, two from Flumeri and one from Grottaminarda, cities in the Campania region, were returning from the Hotel Institute of Ariano Irpino, in the province of Avellino, when they became involved in the episode.
Arriving at the Grottaminarda bus station, before getting off the Air Campania bus, the boys noticed a black bag on a seat and opened it. Inside the bag was only money and a gold chain, without any documents.
After the discovery, the trio, whose identities have not been revealed, handed the bag over to the bus driver, who called the Italian police. Thanks to the driver, the authorities were able to locate the owner of the money, an elderly resident of Valle dell'Ufita. (ANSA)
