Italian Embassy in Brazil to host Italian Wine Fair

The Italian Embassy in Brazil, in Brasília, will organize next Thursday (21) the fifth edition of “Vini D'Italia – Italian Wine Fair in Brazil”.

The event, which aims to promote wines Italians and strengthen wine and food ties and trade between Europeans and South Americans, will be led by Alessandro Cortese, Italian Ambassador to Brazil, and curated by wine and food critic Sueli Maestri.

The event will be attended by 24 importers and at least 235 labels from all Italian regions will be exhibited. In addition, Vini d'Italia will feature the participation of the Italian winery Antonelli Montefalco, which will present its wines in the Brazilian capital.

The winery's highlight for the event in Brasília will be the Montefalco Riserva DOC 2020 wine, awarded with the Tre Bicchieri seal from Gambero Rosso.

The event, which is part of the 9th edition of the Italian Cuisine Week in the World, will also commemorate the 150 years of Italian immigration to Brazil, highlighting the contribution of immigrants in introducing the product to the country, especially in the development of the professionalization of the wine market.
