People of Italian descent from Espírito Santo can now obtain passports in the state.
The Italian Consulate General in Rio de Janeiro has made available a new system for collecting the biometric data necessary for issuing Italian passports and civil status certificates for residents of the State.
With the new system, it will no longer be necessary to travel to Rio de Janeiro to acquire the documents. Interested parties must fill out the form directly on the Consulate General's website, choose the type of service and send it.
The Supreme Court reaffirmed: citizenship is born with the person.
