The best breweries in Italy, according to Gambero Rosso

Eagle Red shrimp elected the best breweries in Italy, awarded with the Three Boccali (Three Jars), the highest in the sector. 

In total, there are four Italian breweries that have obtained the mark of excellence and will be part of the great guide Restaurants in Italy 2022, by Gambero Rosso.

The guide Red shrimp, a reference for restaurants in Italy, begins again in a period marked by great changes.

Gambero Rosso, the best Italian breweries of 2022

One of the breweries awarded by Gambero Rosso, which also recently elected the best pizzerias in Italy, and the Baladin Open GardenOn Piozzo, a city of just under a thousand inhabitants located in the province of Cuneo, in Piedmont. 

The Baladin Open Garden offers 15 draft beers (birra alla spina, as it is known in Italy) along with the great classics of Piozzo's local cuisine.

Among the breweries awarded by Gambero Rosso is also Nidaba de Montebelluna, in the province of Treviso. 

Nidaba is a modern space, the result of a cosmopolitan vision: in addition to serving more than 200 types of beers, its kitchen offers fried foods, sandwiches and gourmet burgers, as well as a wide variety of whiskeys and cocktails.

Rome, nominated by Prime Minister Mario Draghi to host Expo 2030, has two sites awarded the Tre Boccali de Gambero Rosso. 

One is the Osteria di Birra del Borgo, located in via Silla: based on the quality of hospitality, it is inspired by the taverns of the past, offering the best of traditional Roman cuisine.

The other restaurant in the capital awarded with the “Three Mugs” in the Gambero Rosso 2022 Guide reserved for the best breweries in Italy is Open Baladin. 

The restaurant is located in via degli Specchi, in the Campo dei Fiori area, one of the most suggestive neighborhoods in the capital. 

Open Baladin has more than 100 bottled beers from the best national productions and 40 Italian draft beers that represent the best of our country's artisanal production. To all this is added a large selection of international beers.
