Pro Vercelli, from the city of Vercelli, currently in the Italian third division, has launched its new third shirt for the season, in homage to Palmeiras. The connection between the clubs dates back to the founding of Verdão, which began in 1914, still as Palestra Itália, inspired by a tour of Brazil by Pro Vercelli and Torino.
The new shirt, signed by Zeus, is green with jacquard in a zigzag pattern along the body. The round collar is white, with an orange trim at the tip, a pattern also present on the cuffs. White cutouts appear on the sides, a color also used in the supplier's logo and sponsors. The club's crest is on the left side of the chest.
The alternative uniform is completed with green shorts and socks. At the launch, Pro Vercelli highlighted that the piece symbolizes the historic relationship with Palmeiras. The Brazilian club, in turn, praised the initiative on social media.

This is not the first time that Pro Vercelli has paid tribute to Verdão. In 2021, it had already launched a green uniform with the same concept. Since they got back together in 2015, the clubs have maintained a cordial relationship. Last year, for example, Pro Vercelli hosted an event attended by a Palmeiras delegation, including idol Evair.
