Italy will launch a special night train linking Roma to Munich for two weekends in the fall, taking tourists to Oktoberfest. The Munich Express, part of the FS Treni Turistici Italiani tourist train initiative, departs from Termini station on Friday evenings and returns on Monday mornings.
The service will offer three accommodation options: armchairs, sleeper cars, and sleeper cabins. The company promises an "easy, comfortable, and effortless" journey, with Bavarian-themed entertainment to get you in the festive spirit. Besides Roma, it will be possible to board in Verona, Trento, Bolzano, Bressanone, Fortezza, Vipiteno, Colle Isarco and Brennero.
