The 3th edition of Italian Solidarity Festival of Ribeirão Pires, in the São Paulo Metropolitan Region, will be held on October 18, 19, 25, and 26 at the Municipal Palace. The free event features traditional cuisine, cultural attractions, and charitable activities, livening up the city center.
The program begins on Saturdays at 16 p.m. and Sundays at noon, with 17 stalls offering Italian cuisine. The expectation is to replicate the success of previous editions, which attracted approximately 45 people.
Culture, solidarity and local commerce
The festival follows the Chocolate Festival model, which generated over R$12 million in revenue for the local economy. Like the previous festival, the Festa Italiana also includes initiatives to support the city's businesses and social institutions.

According to Mayor Guto Volpi, the format is successful because it balances leisure with economic growth: "The format has proven to work and has been approved by both residents and business owners," he stated. He also emphasized that the city will continue to engage with local businesses to improve future events.
The event, held at the Municipal Palace, guarantees ample space and better infrastructure to welcome residents and tourists from the ABC Paulista region. The festival is expected to attract a large crowd over the two weekends.
