Google Retrospective: the most searched topics and words in Italy in 2021

As happens every year, the giant Google announced the results of the most searched topics on the search service in 2021 in Italy.

The company separated the terms into several categories such as main searches, questions about what certain things are, events of the year, how to do things and a bunch of curiosities – in total, there are 18 categories.

These are not absolute rankings, but rather the topics that recorded the biggest spikes in research in relation to 2020.
