The series focuses on exploring the historical ties that still influence the culture, economy and political relations between the two countries. The reports will be broadcast on the broadcaster's news programs and digital platforms.

Luis Roberto Lorenzato.
Marcelo de Carvalho Fragali, presenter and vice-president of the station, spoke about the importance of the arrival of Italians, our ancestors in Brazil, in 1874. “Since then, Italians have helped to create this patchwork that is the cultural fabric of Brazil. They went to work in agriculture, industry, and commerce, and today the ties are extremely strong. These ties are cultural, socio-economic, and even gastronomic, and undeniable,” he said.
A century and a half later, the Italian-Brazilian community continues to grow. And the Italian influence, which spans generations, remains very present in the daily lives of Brazilians to this day.

And the bond that does not seem to weaken over time is celebrated by the vice-president of the Italian Senate with the invitation for everyone to visit Italy, the country of their ancestors, with its tourism and roots.
