RAI starts recording a series about Italian immigration in ES

Recordings for aseries of reports on Italian immigration in Espírito Santo have already begun.

A team from RAI, the main Italian TV, is in Vitória and will head to the mountain towns of New Immigrant Sale e Santa Teresa.

The visit is supported by the Public Archive of the State of Espírito Santo, the State Tourism Secretariat and the Italian Community of Espírito Santo.

The representative of the Chamber of Commerce of Italy in Santa Catarina, Diego Mezzogiorno, RAI correspondents in Brazil and columnist for Italianismo, is also following the Italian team, together with Cilmar Franceschetto, general director of the Public Archive of the State of Espírito Santo, who was interviewed this Saturday (30).

The Italian broadcaster will tell stories of personalities who descend from the first immigrants in Espírito Santo, traditional festivals and events, agritourism, the historical-tourist potential of the State, considered one of the main cradles of Italian immigration in Brazil.

The Italian team will also record images for the new “L'Italia con Voi", withDiego Mezzogiorno, who debuts on RAI.
