The first snowfall recorded in Italy in 2021 caused problems for residents of Alto Adige this Tuesday (2).

In some places, up to 35 centimeters of snow accumulated on the ground. Many trees fell on the region's roads, leaving several cars stuck on the roads.

Already in the Dolomites, in Passo Carezza, a bus needed the help of firefighters to continue traveling after it became blocked on a road.

Meteorologists warn that a new cyclone will hit both the central-north and south regions, bringing bad weather and rain to the regions. The phenomenon should continue for the next few days.

“We should expect constant rain, storms and snowfall in different parts of the country”, explains meteorologist Stefano Ghetti, from the portal “The weather".
