From April 25th to May 1st, Big Stones will become the center of Italian culture in the south of Santa Catarina. The city celebrates 145 years of Italian immigration and the founding of Colônia Azambuja,
Cultural activities, seminars, national and regional shows are scheduled and will highlight the history and legacy of the pioneers who came from Italy from 1877 onwards.
“Our main objective is to consolidate this mark of the presence of immigrants in our region, generating an increase in tourist activity in all municipalities that make up the Italian Immigration Route in the South of Santa Catarina”, said the mayor and president of Amurel, Agnaldo Filippi.
