1. Consonno: the ghost town of Brianza (Lecco)
Abandoned buildings, minarets, temples, murals, fountains, Greco-Roman columns, tiles in the style Andy Warhol are just some of the curious details of Consonno , a peasant village that in the seventies should have been transformed into the Las Vegas of Brianza and which today appears as a fascinating ghost town among the most private in Italy.
2. The “Red House” of Valsassina (Lecco)
Once a luxurious mansion, the Villa de VecchiAlso known as Red House, today it appears in a state of abandonment, suffocated by the greenery that once belonged to the beautiful park that surrounded it.

From 1938 onwards, the villa was no longer inhabited and, unfortunately, its rich furniture and precious decorations were stolen.
It was during this dark period that the in the legends building mysterious about ghosts and supernatural phenomena, such as the presence of the ghost of the count's wife who lived in the village or the fountain in the park that gushed blood.

It can only be reached on foot following several routes and climbing 2886 steps against the rock, but it is worth all the effort of climbing because it is a truly fascinating site that also offers splendid views.
Savogno today is practically uninhabited and its stone buildings, fountains, the old lathe and the 15th century church are the setting for a exciting journey through time.
Along the road leading to the village, pay attention to the “Sas de l'Anticrist”“, a wall that looks like a closed door to the underworld that is said to be testimony to a curse.
4. A forgotten masterpiece (Varese)
The beauty Grand Hotel Campo dei Fiori was built in the first decade of the 20th century with a project by Giuseppe Sommaruga, one of the greatest Italian interpreters of the Liberty style.
The decrease in the number of visitors to the region and the consequent interruption of the Campo dei Fiori funicular in 1958 negatively affected the hotel's activity, leading to its closure.

The last guest entered the Grand Hotel in 1968, the year in which the building was definitively abandoned.
It was recently reopened only on the occasion of an exhibition dedicated to summeruga, but is expected to be fully recovered soon.
5. The Village of Cursed Lovers (Pavia)
It is said that whoever enters the Villa Cervi is the victim of a curse…It is certainly the result of one of the many legends of the past. The fact is that the house is abandoned for years.

The structure is unusable, but even if it weren't, who would have the courage to enter?
