A survey conducted by the online community Advertising revealed the most popular cheeses among young people.
The survey, published on Instagram, attracted more than 3 comments in just 18 hours, demonstrating great engagement.
Italy tops the list
The ranking highlighted the presence of three Italian cheeses among the ten most voted. Mozzarella took first place, receiving more than 20 thousand votes. Parmigiano Reggiano secured third place, with 9.300 votes. Burrata also appeared in the selection, occupying eighth place.

- Halloumi (Cyprus) – firm cheese, perfect for grilling due to its high melting temperature.
- Burrata (Italy) – fresh cheese with a creamy interior, similar to Mozzarella.
- Swiss Cheese (USA) – inspired by Emmental, with characteristic holes and mild flavor.
- Camembert (France) – cheese with a white rind and velvety interior, with a strong flavor.
Other research highlights
Provolone came in 12th place, while Mascarpone received just over 500 votes. Mozzarella, in addition to being the most loved, was already among the best cheeses in the world in other surveys.
