Airlines such as American Airlines, EasyJet and Neos will launch new routes to and from Italy during the European summer, starting in June 2025.
American Airlines will begin daily flights between Miami and Rome, and between Dallas-Fort Worth and Venice on June 5th. Schedules follow the local time zones of the countries of origin and destination.
Italy's Neos will operate direct flights between New York (JFK) and Bari in Puglia between June 3 and October 15. Departures will take place on Tuesdays from New York and on Wednesdays from Bari.
EasyJet is expanding its network with direct flights from Bristol to Palermo, starting June 26, on Thursdays and Sundays. The company will also connect Palermo to Lisbon and Palma de Mallorca and will include routes from Milan Malpensa to Biarritz (France) and Thessaloniki (Greece), as well as seasonal connections between Brindisi and Lyon, and Naples and Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands.
Canadian airline Air Transat will add daily flights between Rome and the cities of Toronto (starting June 9) and Montreal (starting June 15). Routes from Venice will also operate twice a week. The city of Lamezia will have a weekly flight to Toronto starting June 12.
Spanish carrier Vueling will connect Salerno to Paris and Barcelona between June and October, with flights three times a week. Rimini will be connected to Barcelona twice a week.
Hungary's WizzAir will launch routes between Pisa and Katowice in Poland on June 2, and between Genoa and Krakow on June 17. A seasonal flight between Alghero in Sardinia and Sofia in Bulgaria will begin on June 19.
Volotea will launch weekly flights between Palermo and Heraklion in Greece from July to August. It will also launch routes from Salerno to Lyon, Marseille and Nantes.
Ryanair will connect Trieste to Stockholm with weekly flights on Wednesdays, starting July 2.
