Starting this Saturday, November 29th, at 20 PM, TV Cultura will broadcast the series "Inovação Itália" (Inovation Italy), a co-production with the Consulate General of Italy in São Paulo. Each episode highlights the work of Italian institutes whose actions directly influence key areas of contemporary innovation.
Second Domenico FornaraAccording to the Italian Consul General in São Paulo, the project's mission is to showcase Italian contributions to the modern world. Italy, the birthplace of, among others, Leonardo da Vinci, Galileo Galilei, and Guglielmo Marconi, continues to be a world leader in many innovative fields.

Premiere with a focus on sustainability.
The first episode, titled "Sustainability," takes the audience to the headquarters of ENEA, the Italian agency focused on new technologies, energy, and sustainable development, located on the shores of Lake Bracciano.
This edition features research investigating mini-plantations resistant to the extreme conditions of space, as well as experiments for the production of fertilizers in a space environment.
Another highlight is the use of specialized bacteria in the restoration of medieval tombs and Renaissance works, such as the Medici tomb. The microorganisms remove stains and fungi without damaging the original structures and show potential for reducing soil contamination.
