The Italian military sailing ship Amerigo Vespucci, known as the “most beautiful ship in the world”, will be used by the Italian government for a two-year voyage with the aim of promoting “Made in Italy” around the world.

The announcement was made by the Minister of Defense, Guido Crosetto, during the wine fair Vinitaly, one of the largest in the country, which is being held in Verona. The event brings together more than four thousand companies operating in the sector.
“Companies asked us to help take their italian image and now the government will also do this through the Ministry of Defense. From July 1st, for two years, Amerigo Vespucci will be engaged in a training campaign that will go around the world, with stages on each continent, where we will also present the best of Made in Italy”, highlighted Crosetto.
The project will have the support of Veronafiere, which promotes Vinitaly, which will be on the most famous school ship in the world. Italian Military Navy to promote the “excellences of the nation beyond our borders.”
