The businessman Gino Raniero Cucchiari He passed away this Sunday, February 1st, at the age of 78, in Nova Lima, in the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte. He was hospitalized at the Vila da Serra hospital and was recognized as a central figure in the Minas Gerais business scene.
The Italian Chamber of Commerce of Minas Gerais deeply regretted the loss of the executive. Originally from Marta, in province of Viterbo (Lazio), Cucchiari held the position of vice-president of the institution, where he actively worked to strengthen trade relations between Brazil and Italy.
In the corporate sector, he served as commercial director for Latin America at CNH Industrial. The company, headquartered in Contagem, controls the Case Construction and New Holland Construction brands, and is a leader in the manufacture of agricultural and construction machinery.
Career path within the Fiat group
Cucchiari's history in Brazil began in 1969, when he arrived as an executive at Fiat groupHe participated in important milestones, such as the delivery of tractors to the government of Minas Gerais and the creation of the Fiatallis brand in 1974.
His experience in the automotive and industrial sectors solidified his leadership within the Italian-Brazilian community. This experience allowed him to hold strategic management and business representation positions for decades.
