“The third consecutive day without death leads us to hope and optimism.” This is what the advisor for the well-being of the region of Lombardia, Giulio Gallera, commenting on the data from this Sunday, July 26th.

The region was the hardest hit by the new coronavirus in Italy, totaling 85.894 confirmed cases for SARS-CoV-19 – of these, 16.801 people died.

In Italy, 245.864 were infected by the new coronavirus and 35.102 died.
