The Italian singer Laura Pausini was nominated this Tuesday (17) for the 2024 Latin Grammy, which this year is in its 25th edition and will be held at the Kaseya Center, in Miami, on November 14th.
The “Belpaese” artist will compete in the “Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album” category, with her album Anime Parallele (“Parallel Souls”), in the Spanish version, against albums by Diego El Cigala (Obras Maestra), Kany García (García), Juliana (Mar Adentro) and Gian Marco (Aún Me Sigo Encontrando).
This year, Julio Reyes Copello is also among the nominees, in the “Producer of the Year” category, who produced “Vale la pena”, one of the tracks on Pausini’s album.
The new nomination marks the Italian's return to the Latin Grammys, one year after being honored by the Latin Recording Academy with the “Person of the Year” award.
Winner of 5 Latin Grammys, a Grammy, a Golden Globe, Pausini has also accumulated an Oscar nomination and several other awards throughout her more than 30-year career.
The Italian released her latest album of unreleased songs in October 2023. The success of the project resulted in her tenth world tour, which brought together more than 450 fans across Italy, Europe and America. (HANDLE)
