The Lambretta became very popular in Italy after the end of World War II. Shortly afterwards he arrived in Brazil, where he won hearts across the country.
In 1946, Ferdinando Innocenti owned a steel tube factory hit by bombs in World War II. In the midst of plans to rebuild his company and without money, he had the idea of manufacturing a simple, small means of transport that did not consume a lot of gasoline, a scarce product at the time.

Design and economy were the hallmarks of the scooter
To execute his idea, he teamed up with aeronautical engineers Pierlugi Torre and Cesare Pallavicino and the three began to create the Lambretta project.
The first model was produced in 1947. It was called Model A, a 123-cylinder motor scooter, which achieved 33 kilometers per liter.

Vehicles began to be manufactured in series in Milan , in the Lambrate neighborhood, a name that ended up immortalized as one of the best-known and beloved brands in the world.
The chrome components and design attracted attention on the streets of Milan, with its small 7-inch wheels. And new models were being incorporated into the assembly line, with some modifications.
