A 47-year-old Italian man was killed last Saturday (9) in a city in Texas, where he had lived for more than a decade.
Paolo Tescari, born in Marghera, Veneto region, was shot and killed by Kevin Jaramillo Ramirez, a 17-year-old Hispanic youth, who was arrested by Temple police after the crime. The teenager was in possession of an illegal weapon.
According to information from the local press, the crime occurred after a disagreement that began when Tescari asked the young man for a cigarette.

“Friends near and far, unfortunately what you are reading about our brother Paolo is true. He died after a 17-year-old boy shot him. The immediate medical care he received was useless. The boy who committed the crime is already in prison and has already confessed,” wrote Elisabetta Tescari, the victim’s sister, on social media.
Paolo Tescari was involved with the Christian organization 'Feed My Sheep', which provides assistance and food to people in vulnerable situations.
