Globo reached the biggest audience of this edition of the Euro Cup this Tuesday (6), with Italy qualifying after beating Spain on penalties.
The game ended 1-1 in normal time and 4-2 on penalties. According to previous data to which the column had access, Globo had 15 points in São Paulo, with a 28% share. In Rio de Janeiro, the numbers were even better, reaching 20 points and 38% participation.
Both numbers are records at Euro 2021 for the broadcaster. And they overcame the first semi-final of Euro 2016, Portugal x Wales, in the two main venues.
In São Paulo, there were four more points for the Globe, while in Rio the data reached a 5 point advantage.
This Monday, the Brazilian team's qualification for the final, after beating Peru 1-0, helped SBT to record 14 points in average audience, its highest mark so far in the Copa América.
