The Italian automotive industry is about to receive a significant addition with the emergence of AEHRA, a new global brand of ultra-premium electric vehicles.
Based in Italy, AEHRA recently revealed the names of its first two models: the SUV Surging and the sedan Ecstasy, both promising to revolutionize the market with cutting-edge technology and sophisticated design.

Ambitious development plan
AEHRA has submitted a €1,2 billion development plan to the Italian Ministry of Industry, which controls the Automotive Fund, Italy. This fund is intended to support strategic initiatives in the automotive industry, and AEHRA hopes to obtain financing to build a new production facility.
The project has been described as being of national strategic importance, highlighting the company’s mission to redefine sustainable, high-quality mobility.
According to the Italian-American Hazim Nada, founder and CEO of AEHRA, the support of the Italian government will be crucial to establish a sustainable mobility ecosystem, utilizing the latest technologies in engineering, batteries and manufacturing.
Approval of this financing would mark an important step in achieving the company's objectives.

New factory and academic partnerships
AEHRA has announced the creation of a new manufacturing campus in Mosciano Sant'Angelo, in the region of Abruzzo. The facilities, which will occupy an area of 207.000 m², have already been designed and construction will begin at the end of 2024.
The company plans to create 540 new jobs at the factory, as well as 110 new jobs in Milan, where its headquarters are located.
Abruzzo was strategically chosen as it is the center of Italy’s carbon fiber industry, an essential material for the production of the carbon fiber monocoque that will be used in AEHRA’s Sedan and SUV models.

Furthermore, Abruzzo, as a special regional development area, offers tax advantages that will be beneficial for the company.
In addition to industrial initiatives, AEHRA has established a strategic partnership with the University of L'Aquila, which is home to one of the most advanced electric vehicle engineering centers in the world.
This collaboration will be critical to the development of the advanced electric powertrain, which promises a range of 800 km, as well as other future technologies from AEHRA.
The company is also collaborating with the Polytechnic of Milan, further strengthening its technological base.
Production and future
AEHRA plans to start production of its ultra-premium SUV models Surging and the sedan Ecstasy, in mid-2026.
Production is expected to reach 25.000 units per model per year, consolidating AEHRA as a new force in the global automotive market.
