Italy records the lowest number of deaths since confinement began on March 10
Italy has recorded 153 new deaths from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to data released by Civil defense this Saturday (16).
With the number, 89 less than yesterday and the lowest since the beginning of confinement, on March 10, the country reached a total of 31.763 deaths from the disease caused by the new coronavirus.

875 new cases of Covid-19 were also confirmed, totaling 224.760 infections since the start of the pandemic in the country, on February 21.
The downward trend in the epidemiological curve encouraged the Italian government to bring forward, according to the regions, the reopening of almost all commercial activities in the country to next Monday (18), instead of doing so gradually, as scheduled. .
Bars, restaurants, retail stores and hairdressers and beauty centers must reopen.
