Tremors did not cause any casualties, but damaged several houses. 'The situation is dramatic. We have thousands of homeless people', said the firefighter.
More than 4 people spent a second night away from their homes after strong earthquakes last Wednesday (26) in central Italy, according to data from the country's Civil Defense.
The earthquakes did not cause casualties or great devastation in the affected region, but they damaged thousands of houses that could not be entered.
The damage and problems add to the situation that had already been created after the earthquake on August 24th with an epicenter 50 kilometers away and which devastated entire villages and caused 297 deaths.

According to Civil Defense data, around 4 people were served in Camerino, Visso, Ussita and Castelsantangelo sul Nera, the locations at the epicenter of the tremors, but the figure is approximate, as hundreds still sleep in their cars or in homes. family members.
Sports gyms, some camps with tents, or the bus depot, in the case of Camerino, were organized for the displaced.
Around 800 people were transferred yesterday to various hotels on the Adriatic coast, because the solution the authorities have chosen is to no longer set up camps due to the intense cold that is punishing this region at the foot of the Apennines.
“The situation is dramatic. We have thousands of people displaced, around 5.000, clearings and blocked roads. The damage is widespread throughout the region and adds to the damage already caused by the (earthquake) on August 24th”, explained the director of the Fire Department, Bruno Frattasi, in an interview with the newspaper “Il Messaggero”.
Compared to the earthquake on August 24, the damage is smaller and the first earthquake caused people to abandon their homes “and this probably saved many lives”, explained Frattasi.
According to firefighters' data, there are around 20 towns, including Camarim with more than 6.000 inhabitants and another 6.000 university students, who suffered major damage.
Added to this are schools closed in all these locations and in most of the Las Marcas region, as well as commercial and tourist activity completely destroyed.
