The musical trio The Flight will make presentations at the Archaeological Park Valley of the Temples, in Sicily, between August 31st and September 1st.
The venue, which is part of the programming of the next Italian Capital of Culture in 2025, Agrigento, will be the stage for two shows by the singers for television specials.
In the recording on August 31, the show by Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble will be dedicated to Christmas songs, which will be broadcast on December 24 on Channel 5 in Italy.
The following day, the artists will record a performance to be shown on the American broadcaster PBS between November and the entire year 2025. This show will also be available to be distributed in other countries, such as Brazil, where the trio has a good number of fans .
Another Il Volo commitment during the period will be the recording of a video clip in the Valley of the Temples to publicize the Italian government's campaign for the capital of culture next year, which will air on the country's Channel 5.
For this, the stage will be positioned in front of the Temple of Concordia, the largest and best preserved in the park. The ancient Greek work will serve as a backdrop for the shows, at the same time as it will receive a refined play of lights. The singers will be accompanied by a choir and an orchestra.
To ensure the preservation of the archaeological heritage of the Valley of the Temples, the organizers limited the public space to a maximum of 600 people over the two days of the event. (HANDLE)
