"Ad Astra” is the title of Il Volo's new album, the first album with only new songs from the Italian trio, scheduled for release on March 29th on digital platforms and physical media, in five formats (CD, autographed CD, color LP, color LP autographed and black LP, with autographed versions sold by Amazon).
The album promises to be a sound journey, composed of 11 tracks with an international flavor, after participating in the 74th Sanremo Festival with the song “Capolavoro”, crowning the trio's 15-year career.
The proposal of “Ad Astra“, which comes out on the record label Epic Records/Sony Music Italy, is to be a “tailored suit”, sewing the three distinct and complementary personalities of Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble.
The record project, which aims to be innovative in its genre, was born from intense work shared with a team of some of the most important authors and producers of the moment.
The new tracks build a bridge between the past and the present, with an impulse towards the future, in a metaphysical concept that wants to challenge the limits of the visible and project listeners into the deep mysteries of the universe, through the difficulties to the stars, only with the power of music.
The songs can also be heard in the setlist of “Tutti per uno – Capolavoro”, four special nights at the Verona Arena with several guests (9, 11, 12 and 13 May), a prelude to 16 shows in the Italian summer.
The trio is also preparing for a world tour, which will begin at the end of April, in Japan. (HANDLE)
