Passengers with flights scheduled for Wednesday, December 17, may face delays and cancellations due to a strike in the Italian aviation sector.
The strike is affecting airports throughout Italy and will last four hours, between 13 p.m. and 17 p.m. (local time). Airline and ground handling staff are among those participating in the mobilization.
Employees of [company name] should join the strike. ITA AirwaysEasyJet, Air France, KLM, and Vueling will also be involved. Ground staff from various airports and officials from the Italian Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC), based in Rome, will also participate. This may impact services such as check-in, boarding, and ramp operations.
According to the Italian press, the protest is motivated by issues such as dissatisfaction with contracts and the lack of renewal of the national collective agreement for the category.
