Traditional Italian festival in the region promises to bring together thousands of descendants
On the 19th, 20th, 26th and 27th of January, the 18th edition of the Festa Italiana takes place in Itu, in the interior of São Paulo.
The Festival, which this year will be at Praça da Independência (Carmo), on Saturdays starts at 17pm and on Sundays at 10am, will feature many musical attractions and typical food stalls, such as fried polenta, pasta, pizza, chicken, among others. treats from the land of the boot.

On the 19th, Tony Angeli and keyboards will perform; on the 20th, Ivano Italianíssimo and band; on January 26th, the Via Roma Band with tenor Mardoqueu Borguesi; and on the 27th, showman Fred Rovella and band. Admission and all shows are free. Musical performances begin at 20 pm, but Italian music will be playing throughout the day. The event is organized by the Nossa Senhora Candelária Parish, in partnership with the Itu City Hall, through the Municipal Department of Tourism, Leisure and Events.
