A Italian Festival of São Caetano do Sul, one of the biggest and most traditional Italian festivals in Brazil, promises an unforgettable weekend. In its 31st edition, the event will have two special presentations to end on a high note: Mafalda Minnozzi, on Saturday (24), and Toquinho, on Sunday (25).
On Saturday, the talented Mafalda Minnozzi, renowned Italian performer, will take the stage to enchant the audience with her unique voice and unmistakable charisma. On Sunday, it will be the turn of Toquinho, the iconic Brazilian singer and composer — who has Italian origins —, famous for classics such as “Aquarela”, provide a magical night full of emotion.
The party will take place at Treviso Province Park, in São Caetano do Sul, where the main stage is set up and 32 typical Italian food stalls will be spread across the park and along the streets Mariano Pamplona and 28 de Julho, in Bairro Fundação.
Entrance to the event is free, as is parking, which can be found on Rua Mariano Pamplona, next to Paróquia São Caetano.
The party starts at 18pm and goes until 23pm on Saturday, and from 18pm to 22pm on Sunday.
In addition to the closing musical attractions, the event will feature the charismatic Fred Rovella and performances by local and regional artists. “The Italian Festival has already become a cultural heritage of São Caetano, ABC and the State of São Paulo. It is a celebration made for families of all origins, from all nations and states, all without losing their Italian roots,” highlights the mayor José Auricchio Junior.
To ensure the safety of everyone present, the event will be monitored by cameras and drones, in addition to the constant presence of the Military Police and the Municipal Civil Guard.
