Our first stop is at Bossea Caves, in Piedmont. Wonders of nature approximately 2 kilometers long and considered among the most interesting in Italy.

An almost untouched paradise, studied over the years by many paleontologists.

No less important is the Salina Cervia, one of the most beautiful natural phenomena in Emilia Romagna.

A region full of magic, made up of more than 50 basins and surrounded by a canal of more than 16 kilometers, which allows the waters of the Adriatic Sea to enter and leave the salt pan.

Arbatax red rocks, natural cathedral

Na Sardinia, the red rocks of Arbatax, a village in Tortolì, are unmissable. Here, the area is characterized by a background of white rocks and tall red granite rocks. 

But the greatest spectacle concerns above all the water, as the reflection of the rocks gives the sea a wonderful color, tending to emerald green.

Extraordinary are the thermal springs spread throughout the country, from which waters rich in minerals and sulfur gush. 

It is no coincidence, in fact, that these have therapeutic and relaxing properties. Highlight for the Terme Saturnia, in the heart of Toscana.

An extraordinary natural phenomenon is what concerns the Balze del Valdarno between the provinces of Florence and Arezzo. 

These are incredible pinnacles and towering towers formed by the sediments of a prehistoric lake, shaped by atmospheric agents after the lake's gradual retreat.

Also in Tuscany, an incredible natural phenomenon: Sasso Pisano.

The steam rises to the surface and sometimes escapes through cracks in the rock, generating plumes of white smoke.

A very interesting natural phenomenon is found in province of Modena: Salse di Nirano.

These are emissions of cold mud, produced by the rise of water of marine origin which, coming to the surface, dilutes the clay in the soil, giving rise to typical cone formations.

It is impossible to talk about Italy and not think about phenomenon of volcanoes. There are at least 10 assets.

In other words, they awakened in the last 10 thousand years: Etna, Stromboli, Vesuvius, Ischia, Lipari, Vulcano, Pantelleria, Colli Albani, Campi Flegrei and Isola Ferdinandea. 

Although the only two that, for now, produce continuous eruptions, separated by short intervals, are the Etna and  Stromboli.
