The world will overcome the pandemic by mid-December this year, study shows
When will the coronavirus pandemic end? A complex study carried out by the University of Singapore tries to answer the question of the moment.
Using deep mathematical models, the analysis uses bulletins from health authorities in 131 countries with the evolution of cases, including patients' hospitalization time, and is updated daily with new information, which makes the Expected dates for the end of the epidemic vary over time.
For Brazil, the scenario is more favorable, according to those responsible for the research: the country should defeat Covid-19 on September 6th.
According to the institution, Italy will be 100% free of the virus on October 10.

In the case of the figures for Brazil and Italy, the data was based on the situation on April 28.
The estimate is more optimistic than most predictions made by health professionals and indicates that the world will overcome the pandemic by mid-December this year.
Health professionals work with this possibility in their projections. The doctor and deputy director of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), Jarbas Barbosa, for example, estimates that large-scale immunization of the world's population could take up to two years. That is if a vaccine is discovered during this period.
