Italian experience in rail transport can be applied in Brazil. This Tuesday (19), representatives of the Italian state-owned company Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane (FS) met with the National Secretary of Land Transport (SNTT), Jamil Megid Junior.

On the agenda of the meeting, the importance of the partnership between the two countries and the interest of Italians in supporting Brazilian government projects.
In the opinion of Secretary Jamil Megid Júnior, the meeting demonstrates the attractiveness of the Federal Government's infrastructure projects. “It is with great expectation that we welcome the Italian delegation to discuss land infrastructure projects. We believe that this partnership can contribute to the success of our projects in Brazil”, highlighted the secretary.
During the meeting, the Italian ambassador to Brazil, Antonio Bernardini, reaffirmed the interest of Italian companies in investing in Brazil. “The Italians are ready to support the infrastructure projects of President Jair Bolsonaro’s government and we are very interested in promoting the railway sector,” he concluded.

FS's objective at the meeting was to present to the Brazilian government its expertise in railway construction, maintenance and exploration projects.
