The closing ceremony of Settimana della Cucina Italiana en Mondo 2025The event in Fortaleza was marked by tributes, institutional meetings, and a celebration of Italian-Brazilian culture. It concluded months of collaborative work focused on promoting Italian gastronomy and strengthening ties between Ceará and Italy.

Held at the Senac Aldeota headquarters, the ceremony brought together Brazilian and Italian authorities, representatives from commerce and diplomacy. Among those present were Maria Salamandra, Consul General of Italy in Recife, Luiz Fernando Bittencourt, Vice-President of Fecomércio Ceará, and Renata Novotny, President of the Italian-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Rio de Janeiro.

Also participating was Ugo Venturino, conductor of Consiglio Reggitore and coordinator of the overseas delegations of Ordine I gave Cavalieri del Tartufo and I gave Vini di Alba, and Vittorio Ghia, honorary knight of the same order and honorary consul of Italy in Fortaleza.

The ceremony had two distinct parts. In the auditorium, guests listened to speeches and received institutional recognitions. On the terrace, there was a gathering with Italian cuisine and toasts celebrating the future of cultural collaboration between the two countries.

The organization of the evening was highlighted by those present as an example of excellence. Senac Aldeota was praised for its structure and welcoming atmosphere. The program reflected the spirit of... Weekwhich goes beyond gastronomy by integrating education, culture and the economy.

During the months leading up to SCIM2025, events took place at universities, restaurants, and cultural venues throughout the city.
