The Ambassador of Italy to Brazil, Francis Azzarello, makes his first official visit to São Paulo this week since taking office in January 2020.
On Saturday, accompanied by Domenico Fornara e Livia Satullo, consul general and deputy consul of Italy in São Paulo, respectively, Azzarello visited the Immigration Museum, located at the headquarters of the extinct Hospedaria dos Imigrantes, in Mooca. The place tells the exciting journey of Italian immigration to Brazil.

Yesterday, Azzarello met with representatives of the Italian National Tourism Agency (ENIT), the Banca d'Italia and visited the new headquarters of the Italo-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce of São Paulo.

The ambassador also visited the Dante Alighieri College, in São Paulo. In addition to the teaching staff, he was welcomed by students studying the school's Italian curriculum, ECCE.
In the afternoon, he visited the facilities of the Italian Consulate General in São Paulo, and later met with the Governor of the State of São Paulo. João Doria, at Palácio dos Bandeirantes.

This Tuesday, a meeting is planned with the mayor of the city of São Paulo, Ricardo Nunes. The deputies of the Italian parliament Roberto Lorenzato e Fausto Longo should participate, as well as representatives of the companies ENEL and Leonardo and the Consul General of Italy in São Paulo, Domenico Fornara.
