Crafts store owner created a piece made up of a bikini and a protective mask
In crisis, create. Amid the new coronavirus pandemic, an Italian woman, owner of a crafts store in Falconara Marittima, in the province of Ancona, decided to create a new beachwear trend: the 'trikini, a piece made up of a bikini and a protective mask with the same print.
“The idea really came from a joke”, reveals Tiziana Scaramuzzo, 45 years old. The first models were made as a way to play with his two daughters.
Therefore, after publishing a photo on social media, the pieces were approved by several women who are passionate about swimwear and concerned about social distancing rules.
In addition to 'trikinis', the Italian company is also producing masks with pockets. “People order on the phone and on social media. Out of the ordinary, we do remittances. They are all made of cotton, washable, they are not certified like the medical ones, but they can contain a surgical mask because they have a pocket”.
The new mask models, according to her, can only be purchased for 5 euros – around R$30.
